Abstract

This academic article has a purpose to present Teaching Model of Vipassana Meditation at Kanchanaburi Sriphaiboon Priest College Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University The author has studied and researched documents, textbooks, journals by studying the patterns and concepts of Vipassana meditation practice. It appears in the Buddhist scriptures that there are 2 types of Vipassana meditation practice these are the foundations of meditation and vipassana meditation. The most complete normative practice is found in "Great Satipatthana Sutta" The form of the Maha Satipatthana Sutra is a rhetorical lecture in a question-and-answer style and there are mixed metaphors as well. It was a perfect narrative process there are both the subdivision, the nithast sector, and the merit sector. It is a lecture that is easy to understand and can be followed correctly. The essence of the sutras mentioned by the Lord Buddha is the four foundations of mindfulness, consisting of 1) Kayanupassana Satipatthana contemplation of the body in the body 2) vedananupassana satipatthana contemplation of suffering 3) Cittanupassana Satipatthana contemplation of the mind in the mind 4) Dhammanupassana satipatthana contemplation of dharma in all dharmas Teaching Model of Vipassana Meditation at Kanchanaburi Sriphaiboon Monastic College some of the teaching styles and processes have been adapted for ease of use and convenient to practice but the key principles remain within the framework of the Four Foundations of Mindfulness, such as contemplation of the body. consideration of feelings consideration of ideas Dhamma consideration which is important both secularly and dhamma Being mindful by developing Vipassana meditation according to the Four Foundations of Mindfulness can be applied to live happily in today's society.
