The Causal Factors Influencing Work Efficiency of Employees in Bangkok

Abstract

This research aimed 1) to study factors affecting work efficiency of employees in Bangkok area 2) to create and develop a causal factor influencing the work efficiency of employees in Bangkok area 3) to study the direct and indirect influences of the factors that influence the work efficiency of employees in the Bangkok area. This study is a quantitative research. The sample used in this research was 400 employees working in Bangkok by using questionnaires as a tool to collect data. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Pearson's correlation coefficient analysis, confirmation element analysis and analysis of structural equation models.


            The research results were as follows: 1) organizational climate factors, job characteristics factors, quality of work life factors and work efficiency factors are more level 2) The model developed was consistent with empirical data. The index for the harmonization of the pattern with the chi-square statistic () = 322.420, at the degrees of freedom (df) = 285,  = 1.131, P = 0.063, Goodness of Fit Index (GFI) = 0.95, Adjusted Goodness of Fit Index (AGFI) = 0.92, Root Mean Square Error Approximation (RMSEA) = 0.018, Root Mean Square Residual (RMR) = 0.014 3) The model consisted of variables that directly influences work efficiency such as organizational engagement factors and variables that indirectly influence work efficiency, namely organizational climate factors, Job characteristics, quality of work life factors which affects work efficiency through organizational engagement factors.
