The Development of Change Leadership for Aviation Training Program for Ground Instructors under Civil Aviation Training Center

Abstract
The research article consisted of the following objectives: 1) to develop the change leadership for aviation training program for ground instructors under civil aviation training center; 2) to experiment and assess the program; and 3) to improve the program. The study employed a mixed-methods approach. A sample group of 30 ground instructors who volunteered to participate in the study. Mean, frequency, and standard deviation were the statistics employed for data analysis.
From the study, the following results were found: 1) The change leadership for aviation training program for ground instructors under civil aviation training center consists of the following components: (1) principles and reasons; (2) objectives; (3) content which is divided into two modules: the first is change leadership, which includes the meaning and significance of leadership as well as an understanding of the change process, the second is visions and creative thinking, which includes the meaning and significance of visions, the process of developing visions, the meaning and significance of creating thinking, and the process of developing creative thinking; (4) activities, teaching and learning, training; (5) media; and (6) assessment from the use of program. 2) The results of an experiment and evaluation of the use of change leadership for aviation training program for ground instructors under civil aviation training center revealed that ground instructors have knowledge and understanding, as well as a change in behavior, in terms of change leadership for aviation training program. The difference between the pretest and posttest was statistically significant at the .05 level. 3) The outcome of improving the change leadership for aviation training program for ground instructors under civil aviation training center involves the reduction of content that is within the period set.
