Achievement Motivation of Students of Faculty of Education Phetchabun Rajabhat University Participating Reinforce Confidently to Professional Teachers Project

Abstract
This research aimed 1) to study the achievement motivation of students of Faculty of Education, Phetchabun Rajabhat University, and 2) to compare the achievement motivation of students of Faculty of Education, Phetchabun, before and after participating in the Reinforce Confidently to Professional Teachers Project. This was the survey research using project-based method. The sample was selected by purposive sampling, consisted of 40 students who participated in the Reinforce Confidently to Professional Teachers Project. The research instruments were a five Likert scale questionnaire with validity level at .82 of the whole questionnaire, and lesson learned extraction and minor groups’ discussion. The statistic used to analize data were percentage, average, standard deviation, and T-test. To compare the motivation of students before and after participating, the researcher determined the reliability in statistical testing at a significant level of .05.
The results revealed that 1) the study of achievement motivation of students can be divided into three aspects: 1) achievement needed, 2) relationship needed, and 3) power needed, and all aspect was at a high level in overall. 2) The achievement motivation of students before participating in Reinforce Confidently to Professional Teachers Project overall was at a high level in all three aspects ( =3.84, S.D. = 0.37), compared with the achievement motivation of students after participated in the Reinforce Confidently to Professional Teachers Project overall was at a high level (
=4.09, S.D. = 0.37). The T-test examined after participated was higher than before participated in the project, statistically significant difference at the .05 level.
