Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to develop learning modules by using Research Base Learning (RBL) to enhance special education classroom research competency for student teachers to reach 80/80 standard efficiency, 2) to study the results of applying learning modules by using RBL to student teachers. The study was divided into two phases. Phase 1, the learning modules by using RBL, was developed to enhance special education classroom research competency for student teachers in Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University to reach 80/80 standard efficiency by researching documents and relevant studies to draft the learning modules by using RBL and trying out the learning modules. In Phase 2, the results of applying the learning modules by using RBL to enhance special education classroom research competency for student teachers were compared. It is a quasi-experimental research. Personal information of the percentage, and standard deviation. The collected data were analyzed by chi-square. The knowledge average results were compared between these groups by Mann Whitney-U test and within a group by the Wilcoxon’s Match- Pairs Signed Ranks Test to see the scores before and after applying the learning modules by using RBL.

The results show: Phase 1, The results of efficiency of the 8 learning modules by using RBL of non-participant students showed the average score of during class test 83.38, and the E2 post-test average score of 80.66. It could be concluded that the efficiency of the learning modules was above the specified standard of 80/80 as of 83.38/80.66. Phase 2, The pre-test and post-test scores as a result of applying learning achievement test by using RBL of the experimental group and the control group showed that the students in the first group had statistically significance of higher scores than the second group as of .05. It was revealed that the learning module RBL had an effectiveness toward special education classroom research learning for student teachers in Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University.
