The Administration of Vocational Education Institutions for Program of Fine Arts According to the Concept of Imaginovation

Abstract

The objectives of this research article were to 1) study and evaluate the opinions of experts towards the administration of vocational education institutions for the Program of Fine Arts according to the concept of imaginovation; and 2) establish the administration of vocational education institutions for the Program of Fine Arts according to the concept of imaginovation.  This research paper is a qualitative research. There were 3 phases of data collection, consisting of:  phases 1 which data was collected using in-depth interviews such as experts, acquired by      a purposive sampling. The research tool was a semi-structured interview. The data was analyzed by content analysis; Phases 2, collecting data by Delphi technique from experts in the Administrators, derived by purposive sampling with considering the criteria-based approach. The research instrument was the opinionnaire constructed by the researcher. It was a 5-level scale with content validity 0.67-1.00. Data were analyzed with mode, median and interquartile range (IQR). The difference between the median and the mode was not greater than 1.00. Phases 3, the data was collected by confirming the concept of innovation management with focus group discussion. The research instrument was a meeting recording form. Data were analyzed with content analysis.


The results of the research were as follows:


1. The administration of vocational education institutions in fine arts to create imaginovation comprised: 1) for educational innovation, it should focus on developing educational institution administration with quality and efficient management to be an educational innovation organization; 2) for administration of vocational education institutions in fine arts, it should focus on developing education institution administration with quality of educational technology; and 3) for principles of aesthetic, visual arts and imagination, it should focus on integration for educational institution development.


2. The establishment of administration of vocational education institutions, the Department of Fine Arts according to the concept of imaginovation. There were guidelines as follows: 1) Personnel consisted, there are 6 elements, 2) Curriculum and learning resource activities consist, There are 4 elements, and 3) The evaluation consisted, There are 6 elements.
