The research used a mixed-method approach that comprised both qualitative and quantitative methods. The quantitative data were collected by questionnaires with 30 persons including administrators and officers of student affairs in higher education institutions, who were chosen by purposive sampling. Percentage, mean, and standard deviation were the statistics employed for data analysis.

From the study, the following results are found: 1) The guidelines for student affairs administration in order to develop the 21st century skills of students in private higher education institutions found that the institutions should emphasize the 1st component which is factors for administrating students affairs in all 8 areas that have a direct impact on the student affairs administration. According to the processes in the 2nd component, all eight areas must engage in student affairs administration in order to achieve maximum efficiency. The 2nd component consists of student affairs administration processes that begin with planning, organizing the scope, doing, checking, and acting. 2) A model of student affairs administration for developing the 21st century skills of students in private higher education institutions comprises 3 components which are: the 1st component is input, which refers to the factors for student affairs administration; the 2nd component is processes, which refer to student affairs administration processes; and the 3rd component is output, which refers to the 21st century skills. 3) From evaluating a model of student affairs administration for developing the 21st century skills of students in private higher education institutions, it is found that a model is of feasibility and utilization at the highest level (gif.latex?\bar{X}= 4.55, S.D. = 0.56).
