Inspired by the Great Leadership of King Rama 9 to the Practice of the Leader of Government Administrative

Abstract
Leaders in the public sector should take more responsibilities than leaders in the private sector. King Rama 9 was an exceptional leader who stood out from all other leaders because he was an example of someone with a range of knowledge and skills. This research article aimed at exploring the genius of King Rama 9, presenting forms of his genius, and the approaches for developing leadership development for public sector leaders based on the great leadership of King Rama 9. The study used a qualitative research method, collecting data through documentary research and interviews with 19 key informants who worked for King Rama 9. In-depth interviews with structured questions were used to collect data. The collected data were discussed using theories and phenomena to reach a summary and suggestions. The research findings were presented in a descriptive manner.
From the study, the following results are found:
The genius of King Rama 9 consists of nine theories and fifteen forms of work. His leadership in various areas includes painting, sculpture, craftsmanship, innocation and technology, photograph, sport, music, etc. There are 9 approaches for developing leadership development for public sector leaders based on the great leadership of King Rama 9 as follows: 1) integration; 2) benchmarking; 3) building model organization based on his genius; and 4) determining the strategic plans for developing public sector leaders called ‘Phumipol Theory.
