A Model for the Development of Organic Agricultural Tourism Based on Sustainable Sufficiency: A Case Study of Prang Ku District, Sisaket Province

Abstract

This research article has three objectives: 1) to study the need and readiness for the development of organic tourism, the sufficiency path, according to the modern technology; 2) to study the model of sustainable sufficiency organic tourism development in Buddhism. Theravada 3) to propose a model for sustainable self-sufficiency organic tourism development Prang Ku District Sisaket Province it is a qualitative research in the field by SWOT Analysis technique including a group discussion meeting. Select a specific Purposeful Selection to use with important information providers with a unique look in accordance with the research objectives, the key contributors are characterized as an Information Rich Case, that is, the information to study at a very deep level. The research result found that; 1) Needs to solve problems in 7 areas, but the area is ready. It is a model from Pol.Sub.Lt.Wichai Suriyut, "the fighter who builds the forest" and has a desire to develop into a sustainable tourism destination in 11 areas by combining modern science "Khok Nong Na Model" with local wisdom to benefit in Agriculture. 2) Development of organic tourism, sustainable sufficiency in Theravada Buddhism. Has brought the principle of prayer 4 with modern science as a framework, found that farmers in the area are ready in 4 areas called Peacefulness, namely, willingness to do, cooperation in doing, and willing to do and understanding. 3) Found knowledge called PRANGKU MODEL consisting of P: Peace People Happy Farmers, R: Relationships Good relationship with each other, A: Action Doing activities together, N: No Poverty Free from poverty, G: Good Health Good life, K: Knowledge Learning Center, U: Unity. When the model is integrated with the principle of prayer 4 and peace prayer (Peacefulness) new knowledge called PRANGKU MODEL Peacefulness Maps is the route of peaceful organic farming, sustainable self-sufficiency.
