Abstract

The purpose of this research article was to investigate the instructional training guidelines in the crisis of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak using qualitative research methods. The key informant consisted of various personnel involved in the organization of the local teachers’ summer camp training project and experts. The structured focus group guidelines were used as the instrument. Data collection was completed through researcher-led group conversations to generate data without any specific access requirement, consensus, or decision. Data analysis was implemented using content analysis.

The result shows that the instructional training guidelines in the crisis of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak focus primarily on the venue, preparation of activities, conducts and practices of trainers, attendees and staff members, and the use of air-conditioned buses and public restrooms with an emphasis on venue management, temperature screening, the use of face masks, cleanliness, social distancing, awareness raising and vigilant measures, and symptom recognition of upper respiratory infection.
