Approaches to the enhancement of Accommodation Development in Ratchaburi Province, Thailand

Abstract

This research paper has the objectives of 1) to study the current situation of accommodation in Ratchaburi Province. 2) To study the problem of accommodation in Ratchaburi Province. And 3) to study the guidelines for the development and promotion of accommodation in Ratchaburi Province. The sample groups used in the research were public and private sectors. Representatives from hotel establishments Community representatives (community leaders who are domiciled in Ratchaburi Province) and Academic of Tourism and Hotel Total of 24 people. The tools used for data collection were interview form, content analysis.

            The research results were as follows: 1) The current situation of the accommodation in Ratchaburi Province The promotion and support for public relations or the promotion of a hotel is not yet widely known. And the safety aspect of the lodging and nearby places still has a problem. 2) Accommodation problems in Ratchaburi province found that the services that require supervision, control, supervision and monitoring of the problems of the accommodation business. By providing assistance Including utilities, there must be a lot of monitoring and supervision of utilities. Especially for safety measures, problems must be monitored or maintained for the safety of life and property for those who travel. And                         3) Guidelines for the development and promotion of accommodation in Ratchaburi province. Should promote the economic development within the province to be flexible. Improve security by sending officers to periodically inspect the area in the inn or nearby areas. Improving the development of public utilities. In terms of the care and management of the building's accommodation to develop in a good way. Including tourism promotion must be developed continuously. To create the impression of coming back to stay overnight                  or traveling in Ratchaburi Province.
