Buddhist Peace Innovation for Developing Peaceful Organization through Participation Method for Service Industry Organization

Abstract
The objective for this research article is to present the findings of “Buddhist peace innovation for developing peaceful organization through participation method for service industry organization” by using Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. A sample group for the study included 16 staff from the service business. The tools to collect data were voice recording, photographing, note taking, and using computer programs. The induction analysis was used to interpret and conclude the data from relevant documents and interviews according to the research conceptual framework. Research findings for “Buddhist peace innovation for developing peaceful organization through participation method for service industry organization” consisted of 3 main principles called “WWW”. “W1” stands for We, the participative process that involved everyone who took part in the research, including executives and relevant staff participating in brainstorming, expressing opinions, implementing, and sharing responsibility; “W2” stands for Wisdom derived from the integration of dhammas and Buddhist peaceful means together with modern management science which are Sammādiṭṭhi (Right View), Ariyasacca (the Four Noble Truths), and Brahmavihāra (the Four Sublime States of Mind), the Linking Pin Function theory, and participation; “W3” stands for Work Manual that was used as the main goal for participative process, which in turns became the work manuals for all working process in every department throughout the organization.
