Models of Participatory Cultural Tourism Management of Thai Christian Villages in the Khong Chi Moon Cluster Provinces

Abstract
This research article is mixed methods research aimed 1) to study the state of cultural tourism management of Thai Christian villages. 2) to develop the model and 3) to evaluate the model. The sample of the study consisted of 335 people of Thai Christian villages In the Khong Chi Moon cluster provinces, 15 experts to consider draft of model and 18 professionals to evaluate model. The research instruments were questionnaires, focus groups and model evaluation. Collected data were analyzed by using mean, standard deviation, and content analysis. The research findings were as follows; 1) The state of cultural tourism management of Thai Christian villages was found to be at a moderate level. 2) The development model consisted of: 2.1) activities managed by arranging activities that are unique, diverse and learning the ways of Christianity, allowing tourists to participate, linking activities to local communities and other tourist attractions; 2.2) tourist attraction managed by preparation, management of ease of access to places and facilities, arranging a place that is attractive and management of site capacity; 2.3) participation managed by participation in network partnerships, participation in tourism management and community participation; 2.4) public relations managed by public relations for tourist attractions, tourist attractions and tourism activities and various public relations. 3) The model assessed by experts resulted in a highest level of suitability and a higher level of possibility.
