The Development of Secondary School Mathematical Teachers in The Lao People’s Democratic Republic Using the e-Training System

Abstract
This research article has the following objectives: 1) To develop course and lessons for secondary school mathematical teachers in the Lao People's Democratic Republic using the e- Training system 2) To study the achievement of training for secondary school mathematical teachers in the Lao People's Democratic Republic using the e- Training system. This study applies research and development, using mixed methods. The sample in the first phase of the study consisted of curriculum development 7 experts, curriculum quality assessment 5 experts and training system testing group 23 teachers, all are obtained by purposive sampling. The sample in the second phase of the study is 156 secondary school mathematical teachers by voluntarily acquired. The tools used to collect data include: Course and lessons assessment form for training, training achievement test, and the satisfaction questionnaire in training. The data were analyzed by percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results of the research are as follows: 1) The e-Training course and lessons quality assessment scores from curriculum development experts is found to be at the highest level (X ̅=4.52,SD=0.38). The score of satisfactions from using the eClassNet system from curriculum evaluation experts is at a high level (X ̅=4.03,SD=0.54), while a result of the training test group is at a high level (X ̅=4.15,SD=0.61). 2) The achievement score from applying curriculum and lessons to train teachers is found to be at the moderate level (54.14%) and the satisfaction score is at a high level (X ̅=3.90,SD=0.79).
