The Development Model of Petrol Station Executives to Enhance Competitive Business in digital age

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the condition of problems and obstacles in the management of gas station managers; 2) to study the management components of gas station managers for business competition; 3) to create a model to develop the potential of gas station managers for business competition; and 4) to prepare a manual for developing the potential of gas station managers for business competition. The research population consisted of an executive or manager of a gas station. The sample was divided into three groups, a group of 10 executives or managers of a large gas station, a group of 400 respondents with a 95% confidence level, and a group of 12 experts. The instruments used inthe research consisted of an Interview form and a questionnaire. The statistics used in the data analysis consisted of Frequency, Percentage, Mean, and Standard Deviation.


The results showed seven factors affecting the success of the development of gas station managers, consisting of 3 sub-component resources, three sub-components, and three sub-components of technology. There are two sub-components, Financial accounting has three sub-components, Service factor has three sub-components, Legal and safety element has four sub-components, and Personal characteristics factor, all seven sub-components are averaged. At a very effective level by sub-factors of various components, totaling 22 factors affecting the development of gas station managers' potential. This has resulted in a model for developing the potential of gas station managers that can be used effectively and the results of the preparation of the guideline for developing the potential of gas station managers for business competition. In addition, it is suitable and feasible for application in training workshops for new gas station managers.
