Reasons for Movements against the Government of High School Student in Khon Kaen Province

Abstract
This research reasons for movements against the government of high school student in khon kaen province purposes to 1) study the reasoning factors affecting the participation in the movements against the government of high school students; 2) study the factors affecting the decision-making to participate in the movements against the government of high school students. This qualitative research employed the semi-structured and in-depth interview where the targets were 11 student leaders, 7 males and 4 females, of high school students in the 5 high schools situated in Mueang Khon Kaen District where the personal data was synthesized and the research of documents which are data sources, i.e., newspapers, textbooks, concepts and theories, and relevant researches were conducted. The results illustrated that the 1) reasoning factors affecting the participation in the assembly against the government were: rights and freedoms; educational institutions; politics and; (family. The assemblies and movements against the government of the high school students in Khon Kaen Province originated from the experience of self-perception when certain existing questions and inquiries lead to the claiming movements to seek answers. 2) The factors affecting decision-making to participate in the assembly against the government were: individual ideology social media and risk perception. All three significantly played important roles in decision-making to participate in the assembly.
