A Model for Developing Educational Management by Using Remote Media Via Satellite in the Small-Sized Schools to Become Effectiveness
Main Article Content
Abstract
The research article consisted of the following objectives: 1) to study the basic information of the effective educational management by using satellite-based distance learning in the small-sized schools; 2) to create and develop a model for the development of effective educational management by using satellite-based distance learning in the small-sized schools; 3) to experiment a model for the development of effective educational management by using satellite-based distance learning in the small-sized schools; and 4) to present a model for the development of effective educational management by using satellite-based distance learning in the small-sized schools. A sample group consisted of school administrators and class teachers, in a total of 468 persons, which were acquired by way of stratified random sampling. The research instrument employed questionnaires. The target group comprised school administrators and class teachers, in a total of 6 persons, which were acquired by mean of in-depth interview. A school was also used as the target group for the experiment. While the target group for evaluating a model consisted of 21 experts obtained by way of focus group discussion. From the study, it is found as follows: 1) The basic information of the effective educational management by using satellite-based distance learning in the small-sized schools is found to be at a moderate level; 2) The results of creating and developing a model, as well as the results of examining the components of a model, are discovered to be of the highest level of propriety and feasibility. The propriety average is 4.57, while the feasibility average is 4.94; 3) The post-test is found to be at a higher level than pretest with a statistical significance of 0.05 level; and 4) The results of presenting a model are found to be of the highest level of propriety, feasibility, and utilization. The research also asserts that the Deming Cycle used for the operation, as well as the continuing use of a model, can influence the development of schools to be of high quality and capable of effectively developing toward excellence.
