A Study of Components of Adolescent Attachment in Family
Main Article Content
Abstract
The research article aimed at studying the components of adolescent attachment in family. The study applied a quantitative research method. A sample used in the study consisted of 1,000 students of the 1st – 3rd secondary school students per academic year B.E. 2562. The research instrument was the test on the adolescent attachment in family with .94 confidence interval. The data were analyzed by way of structural analysis of confirmatory relationships, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, standard deviation (S.D.), mean, and percentage. From the study, it is found that the confirmatory factor analysis of adolescent attachment in family consists of mutual understanding, family relationships, joint activities, problem confronting, self-respect, self-identity, and family discipline. From studying the correlation between components and empirical data in the index group, it is found as follows: Chi-square = 1689.59, DF = 1040, P = 0.08, GFI = 0.99, AGFI = 0.95, RMSEA = 0.04. While in the index of comparison group, the CFI = 0.97. When considering the consistency criterion, it is found that Chi-square value has no statistical significance and other indexes indicate that a model is consistent with the empirical data.
