Buddhist Monk’s Well-being: A Development of Well-being Promotion Model Based on Buddhist Way by Community Public Health Integration for Good Life Quality in Upper Northern Thailand

Abstract
The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the problems of Buddhist Monks well-being promotion, 2) to study the models of Buddhist Monks well-being promotion based on Buddhist way by community public health Integration, 3) to develop the models of Buddhist Monks well-being promotion based on Buddhist way by community public health Integration for Good Life Quality in Upper Northern Thailand. It was a qualitative research that collected data by using in-depth interview with 24 key informants and 52 participations in focus group discussion. The data were analyzed be content analysis and systematically descriptive interpretation.
The finding were as follows: 1. The problems of Buddhist Monks well-being promotion were nutrition, body, mental state, health responsibility of Buddhist Monks, sanitation and environment management problems in the monastery and networks promotion and participations in Buddhist Monks well-being promotion problem. 2. The process of Buddhist Monks well-being promotion based on Buddhist way by community public health Integration that there were 3 kinds namely; 1) Using the herbal medicine local and 2) Using the medicine and 3) using the health system in Buddhist monk Well-being Promotion Based on Buddhist Way by Community Public Health Integration as using 4 principles and 6 principles.
3. The model development of Buddhist Monks well-being promotion based on Buddhist way by community public health Integration in Upper Northern Thailand had 4 models as (1) the four Bhăvanặ (Development) (2) Sikkhă (the Threefold Training) with community public health (3) the four principles and the six principle and (4) using the administrative process of Buddhist health by participation with the various public network come to intergrade with all together in every part that had effected the better health Buddhist Monk.
