5 Institutions for Solving Thai Youth’s Cyberbullying based on Buddhist Peaceful Means

Abstract
This academic article addresses the problems of cyberbullying in Thai youth and
present the way to solve problems by the cooperation of 5 institutions around youth include Home (H) Temple (T) School (S) Community (C) and Online social network (O) to protect youth from cyberbullying and cultivate the right understanding of cyber world.
From the documentary studies and in-depth interviewing found that there are many forms of youth’s cyberbullying such as using violence images or languages, blasphemy, mocking others' appearance or social status or knowledge, slander, blocking others from group, gossip others, there is a temptation to shoot pornography and post to public. These cyberbullying behaviors lead youth to self-harm or thinking of suicide. However, victims may respond in the same way or become person who bully others. When analyze these behaviors In Buddhism, found that cause of these behaviors occur from lust in their mind such as Greed, Anger, Delusion, Envy, Jealousy, Persistence, Lack of self-respect, Stingy and Insulting others. Buddhist Peaceful Means which can solve these problems are Brãhmavihãras based on right understanding of precept and law of action.
