Systematic administration model for self-reliance potential project of the Buddhist Dhamma Medicine Volunteers

Abstract
The research article applied research and development (R&D) process with the objectives to study the conditions of a model, to develop a model, and to assess a systematic management model for the project on building potentiality for self-reliant of Dhamma medical volunteers. The research instruments consisted of a guideline for in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and focus group discussion. The qualitative data were proceeded by content analysis and SWOT analysis, while the quantitative data were proceeded by using a questionnaire. The statistics used were frequency and percentage. The results of the research found as follows: 1) There are 3 aspects of model conditions that were studied, namely, the Buddhist teachings that were applied, the activities during the training, and personnel management, by assessing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The results found that the systems, as well as personnel management, should be developed; 2) There are 6 components for developing a model which are (1) The concepts of human resource management based on the Buddhist ways, (2) The organization's determination to be self-reliant and help people to save the world, (3) The objectives of a model inherit Buddhism, (4) The implementation of a model consists of 5 steps which are 1. The management of Buddhist volunteers comprising 4 parts i.e., recruitment, maintenance, training and development, elimination, 2. The management of a diversity of volunteers with respect for leaders and groups, 3. The development of volunteers with knowledge, field-based learning, and real practice, 4. “Developer” volunteers, 5. Creating network partners to learn together, (5) The conditions for success and the shared ideology, (6) The assessment of understanding in the application of Buddhist teachings in the Pali Canon, expertise in working based on Sammādiṭṭhi (Right View) and removing Kilesa (defilement), understanding and adjusting habit and attitudes in order to become a person of the 9 virtuous practice; 3) The assessment of a systematic management model for the project on building potentiality for self-reliant of Dhamma medical volunteers by experts overall is found to have suitability at the highest level ( = 4.77) and feasibility at the highest level (
=4.60).
