Green Community, White Temple: Environmental Public Space Management Model and Transparency of Temples and Communities in Phichit Province

Abstract
The objectives of this research paper were 1) to study environmental management with transparency 2) to develop a model for managing green areas and creating transparency for temples and communities. It is a participatory action research. Data were collected by document research. Field research consists of in-depth interview, observation, group discussion. Organize a forum for understanding the project with temples / communities. 40 key informants / person, triangular data checking on data collection methods Data analysis was performed using content analysis and descriptive methods. The results of the research were showed that 1) Environmental management with transparency consists of 2 main issues, 11 sub-points, with the following details: Environmental management, including 1) creating green spaces 2) learning resources 3) conservation 4) reducing energy and transparency, including 1) performing duties 2) using budgets 3) using power 4) solving problems of Fraud 5) Improvement of work system 6) Disclosure of information 7) Fraud prevention 2) The landscape adjustment would increase the green area around the temple in accordance with religious activities to be suitable for resting and practicing Dhamma by adhering to the existing nature and environment as well as new improvements. Conducted in the form of a temple committee at all stages, projects or activities within the temple, have consultations, reported to the community and could be examined to reduce grievances between the abbot and the community.
