A Model of Strengthening Organizational Commitment in Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited (Head office) by Buddhist Peaceful Means

Abstract

This research has objective to present the model of strengthening organizational commitment in financial business by Buddhist peaceful of Krung Thai Bank Public Co., Ltd. (Head Office). This research was used the mixed method research and collected qualitative data from depth-interview which was 9 purposive samplings. It was totally 29 persons.  Then, 6 experts examine the information. Data gathering was using 538 simple random questionnaires online which was a simple random sampling about employees of Krung Thai Bank Public Co., Ltd. 


The results of research were found that the minds of employees to organization. The principle ‘Sāraṇīyadhamma’ was the Buddhist peaceful that caused of organizational commitment. A model of strengthening organizational commitment in financial business in term of Buddhist Peaceful means was SAR - 4C Model’s UNITY FOR PEACE which consisted of (1) sharing the common goal (Share Vision) based on the principles of the Sāraṇīyadhamma, (2) good working environment (Atmosphere), (3) Reward & recognition which means doing good requires people to see being more encouraged, (4) Challenge which meant the way to make employees feel that their work to be valuable, challenging, and meaningful, (5) Communication for Peace which meant multi-channel communication, (6) Compensation which meant fair compensation management, and (7) Cultural of Loving Kindness  creating an organization culture for loving-kindness and compassion. The survey of Krung Thai Bank employees’ opinions on the SAR-4C model was found that the average value to be at a high level. ( = 4.45) By working environment, good working atmosphere The average score was in the highest level. ( = 4.52)
