A Model of Peaceful Creation of Phra Dhammakosajan (Buddhadasa Bhikkhu)

Abstract

The article of research aimed 1) to study the context of Thai society and the peace perspective of Dhammakosajarn (Buddhadasa Phikkhu) 2) to analyze concepts, methods and practices in creating peace of Phra Dhammakosajarn (Buddhasathika Phiku) and 3) to synthesize the peace creating model of Phra Thamkosajarn (Buddhasat Phikhu) .This research was a qualitative research. The research process included procedures such as in-depth interviews with those working closely or those influenced by the teachings of Dhammakosajarn. (Buddhadasa Phikkhu) then analyzed the model and summarize the forms of peace building of Dhammakosajarn (Buddhadasa Phikkhu)


           The results of research were found that 1) Contextual concepts problem of peace in society that had conflicts arise in mind before coming out of the speech and in the body, there were conflicts. After then, results in a small social chaos became a large society problems. Peace creating of Phra Dhammakosajarn (Buddhadasa Phikkhu) was the morality of the young people. When youths have morally effected to older children would reduce conflict. But without morality, there were conflicts arises from passion negative within the mind. 2) Methods, concepts and peace building procedures of Phra Dharmakosajarn consists of 8 sub-themes, as follows: personal development, attachment based on aspiration 3 (Reach the heart of their religion , Understanding interfaith and out of materialism), Sapphagaya 7, Peace Talk, Dharma Communication, Dharma Meditation, Preaching and Training and Simplicity and 3) get the model called peace forming of Dhammakosajaraj. (Phutthasat Phikhu).
