The Development of Methods of Teaching the Essence in the Tripitaka for Master degree Students of Mahamakut Buddhist University

Abstract

This Research has objectives were 1) to develop the method of teaching the essence in Tripitaka 2) to assess the suitability of the teaching method, therefore, researching and developing. The participants consisted of 32 graduate students. The tools used questionnaires, evaluations of unit. The statistics in this study was percentage, average, standard deviation and comparative pre-test and post-test scores by dependent sample significant at 0.05. The efficiency of teaching methods at 80/80 (E1 / E2) and assessing of the teaching method by the group's discussion of the 12 study expert involved.


           The results of study were found that 1) the development of teaching method in the essence of the Tripitaka were (1.1) the demand of teaching method development in essence of the Tripitaka was at a high level (= 3.73) (1.2) Post-test was differences with the pre-test to be significant at 0.05 (1.3) the efficiency of the process (E1) was 90.95 and the efficiency of output (E2) was 82.30 (1.4) students’ satisfaction with the teaching method were at highest level at (= 4.57), (1.5) students applied the knowledge to use effectively were at the highest level (= 4.63). 2) The appropriated to use teaching method in the essence of the Tripitaka was at the highest level (= 4.76).
