The King’s Philosophy and Buddhist Ways for Self-Reliance in accordance with the Sufficiency Economy of Saeng Jan Learning Center in Buriram Province

Abstract

This research article has the following objectives: 1) to study the concepts of The King’s Philosophy at the Baan Saeng Chan Community Learning Center, and 2) to study of The King’s Philosophy and the Buddhist methods of self-reliance in accordance with the sufficiency economy of the Ban Saeng Chan community.


The research was qualitative research. After that it was analyzed and described. The results of the research showed that 1. The concept of The King’s Philosophy at the Baan Saeng Chan Community Learning Center. The principle of self-reliance is a self-reliance teaching which is in accordance with The King’s Philosophy. Is a way to focus on self-reliance in making a living in creating a way to develop the science of the King is to develop a way of living in the community that has enough Self-reliance, every step of self-reliance, self-sufficiency, knowledge of sufficiency, eating, saving, saving is the way to success and knowing value for sustainability and 2) an Analyzing the King and Buddhist methods of self-sufficiency in accordance with the sufficiency economy of the Buriram community. The principle of self-reliance according to The King’s Philosophy is the principle of people in the community that can be self-reliant. Buddhist methods are related to The King’s Philosophy and emphasize practicality, searching for true knowledge in order to gain wisdom and expand results for others. Other communities expand the network by creating good karma, which can develop the potential of the community to become more self-reliant by demonstrating the potential of each individual to become a prominent point.
