A Model to Promote the Learning Management Environment Education for Sustainable Development in Private Vocational Colleges

Abstract
The purposes of this research were 1) to study relevant knowledge and guideline for promoting learning environmental education for sustainable development in private vocational education colleges 2) to study current conditions, problems and guidelines for promoting management environment education for sustainable development in private vocational education colleges 3) to propose a model to promote the learning management environment education for sustainable development in private vocational education colleges. The research was the mixed method like quantitative by survey of sample groups from private vocational colleges nationwide and qualitative by an interview to be conducted from vocational colleges that received environmental awards. Data were collected by using questionnaires, semi-structured interviews guide and document analysis. The data obtained to be analyzed in terms of frequency and percentage and content analysis. The draft of model designed to be presented to the focus group of experts for suggestions, and the data was analyzed by using content analysis.
The results of study were found that
1) Principles of learning promotion in environmental education for sustainable development. By the educational process that leads to knowledge, understanding, skills and good attitudes leading to changes in good Environmental citizen consists of important principles. The principles of participation for integration and knowledge of moral Principles.
2) Educational institutions have operations in policy and management, curriculum and learning process management, teacher development, promotion activities on Natural resources, environment development environment in schools and Participatory. 3) A model to promote the environmental education and sustainable development in private vocational colleges consists of 3 major parts. Part 1: concepts principles and objectives. Part 2: operations and Part 3: key success factors to promote the learning management of environmental education for sustainable development in private vocational colleges.
