The Administration of Risks and Dangers in Agriculturalists Growing Field Crops in Nakhon Sawan Area Province

Abstract
The objectives of research were 1) to administrate the agriculturalists’ risks and dangers to plant field crops in Nakhon Sawan area, 2) to identify the factors affecting the administration of agriculturalists’ risks and dangers to plant the field crops in Nakhon Sawan area, and 3) to study the guideline to prevent and reduce their risks in Nakhon Sawan area. The sample groups consisted of ones have grown sugarcane, cassava, and corn as feed in districts of Nakhon Sawan such as Ladyao, Tak Fa and Kao Liao. Instrument of research was a questionnaire (5 Likert scales). The content validity was 0.08 and the reliability was 0.93. Data were analysed by mean, standard deviation, and Stepwise multiple regressions.
The results were found 1) the agriculturalists’ risks and dangers to grow field crops in Nakhon Sawan area were at the moderate level. 2) Factors affecting the agriculturalists to grow field crops in Nakhon Sawan were at a high level. Economic, social, psychological and political factors and government policy could predict the relationship between the administration of risks and dangers in Nakhon Sawan (78.4%) with Stepwise multiple regressions at 0.964. 3) For preventing and reducing the risks and dangers, they should apply the chemical fertilizers as much as possible; carefully use the sharp agricultural tools, look out field crops diseases and pests, and reduce the expense of growing the field crops.
