An Analytical Study of a Model of Cho Sa-Ard Novice Development

Abstract

This thesis consists of 3 objectives: 1) to study the youth’s problems in Saway sub-district, Prangku district, Si Sa Ket province, 2) to study a model of Cho Sa Ard novice development, and 3) to analyze a model of Cho Sa Ard novice development. This is a qualitative research of studying documents and in-depth interviews with key informants of 6 groups The results of this study are as follows:-


             There were 9 principle problems for youth in Saway sub-District, Prangku district, Si Sa Ket province consisting of 1. Drug problem, 2. Phone and online media using problem, 3. Restraint less problem, 4. Controversy problem, 5. Stealing problem, 6. Harsh language problem, 7. Lack of patience problem, 8. Lack of educational opportunities, 9. Sexual problem. 


          From the analysis of a model of Cho Sa Ard novice the development, it was found that the project of Cho Sa Ard novice ordination program could create the immune for the youth in the problem prevention.  It is also the answer to make characteristies of well youth for community, social, and nation. The researcher also found that the process of Cho Sa Ard novice development still reguired some adjustments because when the program was over, novices would return to the cycle of environment and problem as before because their parents, neighbors and schools were locked of the understanding in the youth process obtained through the program which had not been continuously developed. This would have an impact on the youth in going back an impact on the youth in going back to the same cycle of problematic life. Therefore, we should communicate with the parents, community leaders, and faculties of schools in collaborating to attain the sustainable solutions.
