Self-Awareness Reinforcing Model for Prevention the Risky Behavior to Suicide of Adolescents by Buddhist Peaceful Means

Abstract
This research aimed to study 1. the problem situation of self-awareness that involves risky behavior contributing to the suicide of adolescents; 2. the self-awareness reinforcing model to prevent risky behavior contributing to suicide of adolescent [Modern Sciences and Theravāda Buddhism]; 3. to present the self-awareness reinforcing model to prevent the risky behavior to suicide of adolescents by Buddhist Peaceful Means. This article was the qualitative research by using the questionnaire and the in-depth interview with the undergraduate [year 1st students], Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, semester 2/2018 amount to 25 students who were volunteers.
The results of research were found as follows; 1. the problem situation of self-awareness of adolescents occured from both internal factors and external factors. For internal factors, namely thought and attitude such as anxiety, stress, depression and so on. As well as, External factors, namely, family, school, university, society and environment. 2. the self-awareness reinforcing model to prevent risky behavior contributing to suicide of adolescents [Modern Sciences and Theravāda Buddhism] has led to reinforce self-awareness by Western and Dhamma by Buddhism to integrate together. 3. The present the self-awareness reinforcing model to prevent the risky behavior to suicide of adolescents by Buddhist Peaceful Means was the activities of relationship group which composed with 4 activities as follows; 1. self-mindfulness 2. self-control 3. bring to wisdom 4. Buddhism way to happiness. All of processes within basing on the Four Foundations of Mindfulness, the Four Noble Truths, The Five Power. This finding was The Five Power contributed toward continuously to change characteristic of each adolescents which made the self-awareness of adolescents had increased and the suicide decreased.
