Antecedent that Affecting the Organizational Retention of Technical and Engineer in Small and Medium Plastic Industry: A Case Study of Plastic Industrial in Pathum Thani Provice

Abstract
This article aimed to 1) study the level of work motivation, the relationship between work motivation, 2) perceived organizational support against organizational retention of technicians and engineers in small and medium plastic industry, located in Pathumthani Province. This research was the quantitative research. The samples were 300 technicians and engineers taken by convenient sampling. The data was collected by questionnaires. The statistics used in data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient. The results were 1) Work motivation of technicians and engineers was related to the organizational retention. This study found that the overall organizational retention factor has a relation to the overall hygiene factor (r = 0.531), that is higher than the relation to the overall motivation factor (r = 0.480) and each categories of them were related with organizational retention factor in the positive direction at 0.01 significance level. 2) The overall perceived organizational support has a positive relationship to the organizational retention at a relatively high level at 0.01significance level.
