Abstract

The thesis entitled "A Study of the Roles of Sangha Administrators to the Buddhist Educational Administration in the Area of Sisongkhram District, Nakhon Phanom Province" has three objectives: 1) to study the works on Buddhist education of Thai Sangha in general, 2) to study the state of Buddhist educational administration in the area of Sisongkhram District, Nakhon Phanom Province and 3) to analytically study the Roles of Sangha Administrators to the Buddhist Educational Administration in the Area of Sisongkhram District, Nakhon Phanom Province.


             From the study, it was founded that the Sangha administrators who are abbots, assistants to the abbot have experiences in teaching educational administration, giving helps in educational administration, curriculum development, learning and teaching in the curriculums of Dhamma studies, Pali studies and general eduction. These curriculums have been designed and developed by the Supreme Sangha Council, the Department of Dhamma Studies, and the Department of Pali Studies, in cooperation with the Office of National Buddhism, which have been implemented around the country.


             For the state of Buddhist educational administration, it was founded that the Sangha in the area of Sisongkhram district has provided the three kinds of education: Dhamma Studies, Pali Studies, and General Education.


             For the Roles of Sangha Administrators to the Buddhist Educational Administration in the Area of Sisongkhram District, Nakhon Phanom Province, it was founded that the Sangha Administrators who hold the position of abbot, assistant to the abbot and other positions have played the important roles in supporting Buddhist educational works under Dhamma Studies, Pali Studies, and General Education.
