Strategies for Development of Sustainable Tourism of Suphanburi Province

Abstract
This research paper intends to: 1) study the situation of tourism of Suphanburi province, 2) study the problems and obstacles encountered in the development of tourism of Suphanburi province, and 3)The propose strategies for development of sustainable tourism of Suphanburi province. The target group is executives in government sector and others who are related to Suphanburi Tourism by The questionnaire was tested for consistency with the objectives. Qualitative research by inductive and content analysis. The samples were tourists from 10 tourist destinations, of which 400 were used as questionnaires. The descriptive statistics were analyzed.
The results are 1)found that the numbers of tourist is increasing every year for Suphanburitourism. However, 2)there are problems and obstacles in many aspects, which lack of continuity of individual tourist attractions. Public Relations are till not enough. 3) strategies for development of sustainable tourism The SWOT analysis was used to analyze the environment both inside and outside of Suphanburi province should have three significant parts. 1) Infrastructure: public utility system and renovation system. 2) Marketing strategies consists of seven elements: products or services, pricing, distribution channels, marketing promotion, human resources, physical evidence, process determined strategies. 3) The engagement focuses on local community to contribute more loving, caring, pride and creation of awareness on preserving resources and protecting the environment.
