เงื่อนไขความสำเร็จในการอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างยั่งยืน ของโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมและชุมชน กรณีศึกษา: บริษัทศรีตรังแอโกรอินดัสทรีและชุมชนบางรัก-ชุมชนบ้านสะพานช้าง อำเภอเมืองตรัง จังหวัดตรัง

บทคัดย่อ
การเกิดขึ้นของอุตสาหกรรมส่งผลให้เศรษฐกิจเจริญเติบโต แต่กลับส่งผลต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมและสุขภาพของคนในชุมชน การจัดการที่ดีของโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมช่วยให้สามารถอยู่ร่วมกับชุมชนได้อย่างสันติและยั่งยืน บทความวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจของชุมชน และเงื่อนไขความสำเร็จในการอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างยั่งยืนของบริษัทศรีตรังแอโกรอินดัสทรี จำกัด (มหาชน) สาขาตรัง กับ ชุมชนบางรัก-ชุมชนบ้านสะพานช้าง อำเภอเมืองตรัง จังหวัดตรัง เป็นการวิจัยแบบผสม คำนวณกลุ่มตัวอย่างเชิงปริมาณได้ขนาดกลุ่มตัวอย่าง 330 ตัวอย่าง คัดเลือกโดยใช้สัดส่วนชั้นภูมิและสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบบังเอิญจากตัวแทนครัวเรือน ผู้ให้ข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพ คัดเลือกด้วยวิธีการเจาะจง 4 กลุ่ม รวม 33 คน ประกอบด้วย 1) ผู้บริหารบริษัท 4 คน 2) เจ้าหน้าที่ที่เกี่ยวข้องในการกำกับดูแลด้านอุตสาหกรรมและสิ่งแวดล้อม 4 คน 3) ผู้นำชุมชน 5 คน และ 4) ประชาชน 20 คน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ชุมชนมีความพึงพอใจมีต่อบริษัทในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก (ค่าเฉลี่ย 3.92) โดยมีระดับความพึงพอใจสูงสุดด้านการส่งเสริมการศึกษา (ค่าเฉลี่ย 3.88) และรองลงมาคือด้านการพัฒนาชุมชนและสังคม (ค่าเฉลี่ย 3.84)
ผลการวิจัยพบ 6 เงื่อนไขความสำเร็จในการอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างยั่งยืนของบริษัทกับชุมชน ประกอบด้วย การวางแผนและการแก้ไขปัญหาข้อร้องเรียน การดำเนินนโยบายด้านสังคมและรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อม การดูแลสุขภาพกายและสุขภาพจิต การสร้างเครือข่ายทางสังคม การแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้และการสร้างความเข้าใจ และการมีส่วนร่วมในการพัฒนาชุมชน งานวิจัยนี้มีข้อเสนอแนะว่า บริษัทควรเพิ่มการรับรู้ การมีส่วนร่วม การแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ และการช่วยเหลือไปยังชุมชนรอบนอก เพื่อให้เกิดความเข้าใจบริบทของการจัดการองค์กรในวงกว้าง
