Abstract

Purpose: To identify and explore local wisdom, and to investigate multimedia formats based on the local wisdom. This framework will be used for developing multimedia content and reflects the identity of local wisdom of the Phueng Prong Thai Community Enterprise Group in Ban Khlong Pik Nuea, Suan Khan Subdistrict, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.

Methodology: This mixed methods research includes qualitative research through in-depth interviews with 10 leaders and group members to identify the local wisdom identity. It also involves quantitative research using questionnaires to determine suitable multimedia formats from 400 participants in Chang Klang District. The research aims to develop multimedia prototypes based on the local wisdom identity.

Findings: Ban Phueng possesses the identity of ancestral wisdom, perfected through trial and error. The honey produced here comes from bees that forage naturally, without being fed sugar or nectar. Effective multimedia should convey these stories by using eye-catching colors under the brand's identity. The text and audio should be clear and concise, with a short time to present.

Applications of this study: Organizations related to community development, community enterprises, or agencies that promote, perpetuate, and preserve local identity and wisdom should have guidelines for studying and using data innovations. The findings from these studies can be accepted and implemented effectively.
