Abstract

          The objectives of this research were to develop the local curriculum of Rice for food’s consistency in Hindad Vittaya School by participatory action Research consisted by 2 sub objectives 1) needs and necessary surveys of local curriculum and 2) develop the local curriculum. Stakeholder were School Principal, teachers, students, student’s parent, local wisdoms, and Local government representatives selected by specific. The data collected by questionnaires, deep interview, and focus group. Content analysis were used to analyze data.
          The research findings were : Hindad Vittaya School has local curriculum on rice for food’s consistency by participatory action and integrated into the school curriculum. The local curriculum are additional subjects, 2 credit, 4 hours per week (total 40 hours : theory 14 hours and practice 26 hours). Content of the local curriculum were rice varieties and selection, type of rice farm, planning, maintaining, harvest and post-harvest, and trans-formation. Impact of this research, Stakeholders was proud of the local wisdom, teachers with the skills to develop local curriculum.
