Development of Computer Application Ability and Satisfaction using STAD Technique of Chinese Second-Year College Students

บทคัดย่อ

The purposes of this study were to: (1) compare the learning achievement of computer application ability between the pre-test and post-test. (2) compare the learning achievement of computer application ability with the 75% criteria. 3) study students’ satisfaction with computer application learning using STAD. The sample consisted of 23 second-year Computer Science majors from Guangxi Polytechnic Vocational College, selected through simple random sampling, who participated in the study during the second semester of the 2025 academic year. A one-group pre-test post-test design was adopted as the research framework. The research instruments included: (1) a learning management plan with a quality reliability coefficient ranging from 0.85 to 1.00; (2) an achievement test with a Cronbach’s α reliability of 0.67; and (3) a satisfaction evaluation form with a Content Validity Index (CVI) of 0.85 and reliability values between 0.60 and 1.00. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, percentage) and inferential statistics (paired samples t-test, one-sample t-test).

          The research findings indicated that: (1) The post-test scores of students’ computer application competence were significantly higher than the pre-test scores at the 0.01 2) The post-test scores significantly exceeded the 75% passing criterion at the 0.01 and 3) Students exhibited the highest level of with an overall mean score of 4.82 (SD = 0.37)
