The Effect of Program “EASY TAHFIZ” toward The Ability of Quranic Memorization for Secondary Islamic Stage Student, Year 2

Abstract

Objectives: 1) to develop and determine the effectiveness of a learning management plans by using EASY TAHFIZ program, 2) to compare the Quranic memorization ability before and after studying with EASY TAHFIZ program among experimental group and control group, 3) to compare the Quranic memorization ability after studying 4 weeks with EASY TAHFIZ program among experimental group and control group, 4) to evaluate the students' satisfaction with the learning management by using EASY TAHFIZ program.

Methodology: this research was Quasi – Experimental Research used for experimental group and control group (10 each). The experimental group participated learning management plan by using EASY TAHFIZ program, the control group got learning from teaching as usual.

Research Findings: the study found that the average score of the Quran memorization ability of experimental group students who were learning management plans by using EASY TAHFIZ Program after learning was significantly higher than before learning and higher than that of the control group at 0.05 level, after learning 4 weeks was significantly higher than the control group at 0.05 level and the student's satisfaction after learning with EASY TAHFIZ program was at a highest level.

Contribution: this research can be used for academic porposes in term of developing a model for teaching and learning Islamic studies.
