The Propher’s Aqidah Legacy in Building Ummah

Allah appointed Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon him) to call the Meccan Arabs and the mankind to obey and worship Him. He also appointed his vicegerents (Khulafa’) to bring about prosperity on earth, bring justice to human beings and dignity to human life in the world and hereafter based on divine revelation.
The objectives of this article are to examine the righteous aqidah principles practiced by the Prophet and his companions in building the Ummah among others, being the founder of society, abided by Ahli as-Sunnah wa al-Jamaah for practicing al-Qur’ān, al-Hadith, and reviving Arabic language. These practices were undertaken by the early righteous sahabahs (companions). The data used in this article were collected from relevant documents, and descriptively analysed.
