FUTURE STRATEGIES FOR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS MANAGEMENT TOWARDS EXCELLENCE IN SCHOOLS UNDER THE FOUNDATION OF THE CHURCH OF CHRIST IN THAILAND

Abstract
This research aimed to 1) Study the current and desired conditions of school administration toward excellence in schools under the Foundation of the Church of Christ in Thailand 2) Develop strategic approaches for school administration toward excellence in schools under the Foundation of the Church of Christ in Thailand and 3) Evaluate future strategic approaches for school administration toward excellence in these schools. This study employed a multi-phase mixed methods research design. The population comprised 4,620 individuals, including school administrators and teachers from schools under the Foundation of the Church of Christ in Thailand. The sample group included 110 school administrators and 257 teachers, totaling 367 participants. The research instruments consisted of questionnaires, evaluation forms, and interviews. The statistical methods used for data analysis included the PNI modified index, means, and standard deviations. Research findings revealed that. 1) The current conditions of school administration toward excellence were at moderate to high levels across all aspects, while the desired conditions were rated at high to highest levels. 2) The strategic framework for school สadministration toward excellence comprised five main strategies: 2.1) Professional development for teachers and educational personnel, 2.2) Promotion of holistic learning based on Christian philosophy, 2.3) Innovative management and the use of information technology, 2.4) Development of collaborative networks with communities and religious organizations and 2.5) Development of schools as learning organizations and centers of sustainable excellence. and 3) The evaluation of the strategic approaches resulted in five main strategies, 21 sub-strategies, and 63 practical guidelines, all rated at the highest level in all aspects.
