Background and Aims: Thailand’s agro-industrial sector drives economic growth but faces challenges from digital transformation, supply chain volatility, and global competition. Enhancing workforce capability through organizational core values (OCV) is crucial, as they shape entrepreneurial mindset (EM) and entrepreneurial orientation (EO). This study examines the influence of OCV on employee performance (EP), with EO and EM as mediating variables.
Methodology: The population comprised 525 non-managerial employees of the Agro-Industrial Group of Charoen Pokphand in Thailand. A census approach was applied, and 445 valid responses were obtained through a structured questionnaire reviewed for content validity. Analyses employed descriptive statistics and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM).
Results: The model showed strong reliability and validity, explaining variance at moderate to high levels (R²: EM = .367, EO = .661, EP = .541). OCV significantly influenced EO, EM, and EP, while EO and EM positively affected EP. Indirect analysis confirmed OCV’s effect on EP via EO and EM.
Conclusion: OCV serves as a foundation shaping entrepreneurial mindset and orientation, thereby enhancing employee performance. Embedding aligned OCV fosters entrepreneurial pathways that improve outcomes and competitiveness.
