Learning Management Platform Using Problem-Based Learning Combined with Constructivism on Seminar in Trend Resolutions in the Educational System for Graduate Learner

The objectives of this research project were: 1) to develop a learning management platform using Problem-Based Learning (PBL) combined with constructivism methods on Seminar in Trend Resolutions in the Educational System for the graduate learners; 2) to test and evaluate the quality of developed platform for teaching and learning; and 3) to study students’ satisfaction with the developed platform. The sample consisted of 21 graduate students in the Master of Education Program of the first academic year 2024 using simple random sampling and 10 educational innovation and technology experts using specific selection based on the specified properties. Research instruments included questionnaires, interviews, and a focus group guide. The research results were listed, as follows. Firstly, the developed platform based on the principles of problem-based learning combined with constructivism methods and an appropriate performance model for use in graduate teaching and learning. Secondly, the developed platform has a structure consisting of a website, professor’s team and student databases, knowledge records, knowledge assessments, active discussion boards, knowledge libraries, problems and solutions, downloaded documents, case studies, and activity images. As a result of the trial of the platform, the results of quality assessment results by experts are at a high level. Thirdly, students had the highest level of satisfaction with the developed platform. It was considered that it could support learning management in the course and was a challenging channel for developing learning skills and competencies in education administration from problems and case studies in the course along with modern educational digital technology.
