The Relationship Between Instructional Leadership of Teachers and Student Quality in Schools under Roi-Et Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

บทคัดย่อ

The purposes of this research were 1) to study academic leadership of teacher, 2) to study student quality, and 3) to study relationship between academic leadership of teachers and student quality in schools of Roi-et Primary Education Service Area Office 2. The sample was 342. teachers in schools of Roi-et Primary Education Service Area Office 2. Stratified random sampling by school sizes and simple random sampling were employed to recruit each participant. The instruments for data collection was a 5-point rating scale questionnaire. The statistical analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient for hypothesis testing. The research findings were as follows: 1. Academic leadership of teachers in student activity development was the aspect with the highest mean scores and was performed at the highest. The other aspects were performed at a high level including: teaching and learning management, classroom management, application and development of innovation and technology, and curriculum development, respectively. 2. Student quality in good physical and mental health was the aspect with the highest mean scores and was at the highest level. The other aspects were at a high level including: moral, ethics and desirable values, self-directed learning, and critical thinking and skills, respectively. 3. Relationship between academic leadership of teachers and student quality, it was found that academic leadership of teachers in classroom management and application and development of innovation and technology were positively high relationship with student quality, the significant level was at .01. However, other aspects of academic leadership were positively moderate relationship with student quality.
