Abstract

The purposes of this research were to : (1) Study the needs and current conditions regarding The research of Model of developing ecotourism with community participation Ban Bang Di Sao Phao Beach, Sichon District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province aims to component, indicator and developing model including public hearings by using research and development methodologies consisting of 3 phases : 1) Study of components and indicators Using an evaluation form with 6 experts and a structured interview. 2) Create a model of developing ecotourism with community participation By 9 experts, The tools used in research were group discussion recording and assessment form. 3) Public hearing The sample group consisted of 80 people. The statistics used in data analysis were mean and deviation.

          The results showed that : 1) The composition and indicators for developing ecotourism with community participation had 4 components and 20 indicators: (1) resource area had 5 indicators, (2) environmental management had 5 indicators, (3) tourism activities had 5 indicators and (4) Community participation had 5 indicators. 2) Model of developing ecotourism with community Participation Ban Bang Di Sao Phao Beach, Sichon District, Nakhon Si Thammarat province Consisting of 4 elements: (1) principles and reasons, (2) objectives, (3) ecotourism development activities, consisting of 4 activities: (3.1) Activities to promote the philosophy of Sufficiency Economy (3.2) Activities to promote young community guides. Ban Bang Di Sao Phao Beach (3.3) Seminar activities for community development Ban Bang Di Sao Phao Beach (3.4) Activities to promote community leaders and (4) Guidelines for measurement and evaluation The model was appropriate and feasible. Overall was at the highest level. and 3) The results of the public hearing experiment found that people agreed with organizing the activity of the model of developing ecotourism with community Participation Ban Bang Di Sao Phao Beach, Sichon District, Nakhon Si Thammarat province.
