Development of Chinese listening and speaking skills using role play for mathayomsuksa 1 students

Abstract

This research aims to 1) develop Chinese listening skills using role playing. For students in Mathayom 1 and 2) develop Chinese speaking skills using role playing. For students in Mathayom 1 The target audience is 22 students in Mathayom Suksa 1/1 Are studying in the academic year 2020, NongPhuengWittayakarn School Kaset Wisai District Roi Et Province.

          The researcher has conducted an action research model because it is suitable for the context of the research. The learning management using role-playing consists of 5 steps: 1) Teaching preparation, 2) Teaching and selecting actors, 3) Staging and preparing observers, 4) Performance, and 5) Discussion, Evaluation, Experience sharing and learning results. The research instruments were 5 role-playing learning plans, 2 hours each, 10 hours in total. Listening test and speaking test. The researcher collected the data for analysis using basic statistics, mean percentage, and then compared the percentage results with the specified criteria. The results showed that 1) Mathayom Suksa 1/1 students had an increase in Chinese listening skills by using role-playing. The average score was 25.55 out of a full score of 30, accounting for 85% of the criteria set, ie passing 70% and above. In the third cycle, students were found to pass the assessment criteria for all speaking skills, accounting for 100% of the total number. Or have better Chinese speaking skills.
