Guideline of Learning and Innovation Skills Development in 21st Century for Student in Physical Education Program of Northeastern Rajabhat University Group

Abstract

          This study aimed to 1) study guideline of learning and innovation skills development in 21st century for student teachers of physical education of Rajabhat University Group in Northeast and 2) to propose guideline of learning and innovation skills development in 21st century for student teachers of physical education of Rajabhat University Group in Northeast. The sample group consisted of 11 deans or administrators of Faculty of Education and 55 lecturers responsible for Bachelor of Education Program in Physical Education of Rajabhat University Group in Northeast. The research instrument used was a questionnaire consisting a part of check list and two parts of 5 Likert rating scale. The study results found that 1) the guideline of learning and innovation skills development in 21st century for student teachers of physical education of Rajabhat University Group in Northeast proposed the significance of elements of 6 skills for the 21st century  as follows: 1.1) opinions sharing and joint decisions, 1.2) communication and collaboration, 1.3) reasoning and finding solutions, 1.4) idea connection, and
1.5) creativity. Moreover, the study also indicated that 2) in overall, the guideline of learning and innovation skills development in 21st century for student teachers of physical education of Rajabhat University Group in Northeast was at a high level with a mean of 4.32. When considering in each aspect based on the mean score, it could be sorted from high to low mean scores as follows: 2.1) preparing students before entering the first year by providing training / activities for students in each year,  2.2) supporting the students to develop necessary capacities for 21st century, 2.3) providing training / activities that is appropriate for students in each year, organizing instructions and development activities to provide students with the competencies necessary for living in the 21st century, 2.4) providing instructions and activities to develop problem-solving skills in a variety of ways, 2.5) providing instructions and student development activities that encourage thinking / create work collaboration, 2.6) managing instruction and activities for student development in exchanging knowledge and creating co-decision making, 2.7) providing instruction and communication skills development activities of students each year to improve learning and innovation skills in the 21st century,  2.8) providing instruction and student development activities by encouraging students to think and be creative, providing instructions and collaboration skills development activities for students in each year, placing emphasis on 21st century learning and innovation skills by formulating policies / activities / preparation / training / student development activities, 2.9) providing training / activities that meet the needs of students, considering that technology and innovation play an important role in the development of learning and innovation skills in the 21st century, 2.10) providing teaching and activities to develop problem-solving skills in a variety of ways, and 2.11) preparing for adjustment to be able adapt with a new situation.
