The Study of Academic Leadership Development of Administrators under the Office of Kalasin Primary Education Service Area 2

The purposes of this research were to 1) study level of academic leadership of administrators in the primary schools 2) compare the academic leadership of administrators among the primary schools and 3) study the approach of academic leadership development of administrators in the primary schools under the office of Kalasin primary education service area 2. The research procedures were divided into three phrases. The first stage was to study and synthesize the theory and literature revision. The second stage was to study level and compare the academic leadership of administrators in the primary schools by working with 289 samples ; 101 administrators and 188 teachers. The research instrument was a questionnaire and the statistics used for data analysis were mean, percentage, standard deviation and t-test independent. The third stage was the studying of the development of academic leadership of administrators in the primary schools under the office of Kalasin primary education service area 2 with 9 experts by using the formal interview and using content analysis. The results found that: 1. The academic leadership of administrators in the primary schools under the office of Kalasin primary education service area 2 in overall was moderate by raking from maximum to minimum average following (1) strategic determination of vision, mission and goal (2) surrounding support the learning culture (3) participatory learning (4) curriculum and teaching development (5) teacher and educational personnel development and (6) learner development, respectively. 2. The comparison of academic leadership of administrators in the primary schools under the office of Kalasin primary education service area 2 according to the opinion of school administrators and teachers from t-test was different with significant of statistic at 0.05. 3. The study of approach of academic leadership of administrators in the primary schools under the office of Kalasin primary education service area 2 was in the conclusion as follows: (1) integrating of core curriculum to local content and the worldwide knowledge (2) projects of teacher and educational personnel development as the topic of the seminar, workshop, research and development for learners and system of evaluation and monitoring continuously and (3) promotion of the classroom management for learner center to enhance students’ self-concept of their self-study to search for new idea and concept of the interesting topics.
