Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of cyberloafing behavior on organizational citizenship behavior among Generation Z employees in Bangkok, using a quantitative research approach. The population consists of Generation Z employees born between 1995 and 2006. A sample of 400 respondents was selected. The research instrument for data collection was a questionnaire, which was tested for reliability and achieved a Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of 0.80, indicating good reliability. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression analysis to assess the influence of cyberloafing behavior on organizational citizenship behavior. The results show that cyberloafing behavior has a statistically significant positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior. The regression equation is Y′ = 41.21 + 5.78X, indicating that an increase in cyberloafing behavior can explain changes in organizational citizenship behavior.
