DEVELOPMENT OF A TOURISM ACTIVITY BASE ON NATURE CONSERVATION AND ENVIRONMENT WITH RURAL LIFESTYLE OF TAMRONG BAN-LAT DISTRICT PHETCHABURI

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to create a natural conservation and environment for rural lifestyle tourism in Ban-Tam-Rong. Second, to investigate how tourist satisfaction influences the natural conversation and environment of Ban-Tam-Rong rural life, and Third, to investigate tourist behavior in relation to natural conservation and the environment of the Ban-Tam-Rong rural lifestyle. Quantitative methodology is used in this research. The sample size is 400 people who travel in Ban Tam Rong and Ban Lat districts of Phetchaburi, as determined by an accidental sampling technique. The statistics used in this research were mean, percentage, frequency, standard deviation, and one-way ANOVA.

According to research findings, the first objective is to study a model of tourism activities, and it was found that health tourism is one of the most interesting for tourists at the first level. The second level is natural and local tourism, and the third level is agricultural tourism. Cultural and historical tourism (level 4), ecological tourism (level 5), sport tourism (level 6), ethnic group or minority culture tourism (level 7), and geology tourism (level 8). Secondly, the second objective is to study the tourist’s satisfaction, and it was found that tourists' satisfaction is given four aspects, which consist of good service, easy-to-find places, safety, and interesting activities at a high level. The third objective is to study tourists' behavior. We found that they travel to relax, and most of them spend time on weekend trips. Tourists' preference is to search for more exciting experiences and prefer nature-based activities.
