The objectives of the research were to study the impacts of foreign direct investment on 1) entrepreneurial ecosystems 2) entrepreneurial attitudes and 3) the impacts of entrepreneurial ecosystems on entrepreneurial attitudes in the Eastern Economic Corridor Area. The study used a closed-ended questionnaire and was quantitative in nature. The Eastern Economic Corridor Area's small business entrepreneurs were chosen from Rayong, Chonburi, and Chachoengsao provinces using the quota randomization approach. The results of the research revealed that: 1) foreign investment had a direct positive impact on the entrepreneurial ecosystem, such as the improvement of domestic knowledge; the capacity to support entrepreneurs' businesses; serving as a business incentive for foreign investors; and having an impact on business regulations or legal developments. 2) Direct foreign investment had an effect on entrepreneurial attitudes, with the success of local businesspeople ranking first. The attitude to initiating or leading innovation, acquiring new knowledge for use in business development, and exercising self-control over business outcomes was also impacted. 3) There was a favorable correlation between the entrepreneurial environment and attitudes. In other words, the entrepreneurial ecosystem that was impacted by foreign direct investment was unable to avoid the effects of significant inflows of foreign capital into the economy in terms of policy, support, the financial sector, human capital, marketing sectors, and cultures.
